Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) essential oil is one of the mildest of a large family of essential oils. It is widely used in various perfume and cosmetic products, as well as, for the baby skin care

Roman chamomile essential oil:

  • - Has antiallergic, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties;
  • - Great for treating wounds;
  • - Can relieve the symptoms of menopause and menstruation;
  • - Used to revitalise and soothe sensitive, dry skin, can help remove redness and irritation;
  • - Can help with dandruff, itching, strengthen and lighten hair, and protect the scalp from new dandruff.

    Roman chamomile oil can be used as pure remedy or mixed with other oilds (e.g. lavender, rose, sage, ylang ylang, and bergamot). Suitable for:

    • - Using as a massage oil;
    • - Enrichment of cosmetic products (shampoo, cream, mask);
    • - Evaporating essential oils in a diffuser;
    • - Aromatherapy baths;
    • - Rubbing;
    • - Inhalation, etc.

    A few drops of chamomile oil massaged into the cheek will help calm and soothe the baby's teething pains.

    An ear massage or a warm compress with chamomile essential oil can help relieve ear pain.

    Alone or mixed with lavender, chamomile helps regulate long-term sleep disturbance. This blend should be used with care.
