The sugar-free ApaCare anti-caries chewing gums contain xylitol, a tasty, naturally occurring sugar substitute (also called birch sugar), which helps reduce cavity-causing bacteria in the oral cavity. Together with the tooth enamel minerals calcium contained in ApaCare anti-caries  chewing gum, the remineralization and repair of damaged tooth enamel is sustainably promoted.
